I wouldn’t have thought in a million years that custom dog collars would be a good market. But, some people do treat their dogs as if they were human and spend any amount of money on them including custom dog collars.

They are a great way to bring people to your blog and benefit the posters at the same time so everyone wins! I think dog collars are great. They keep em recognized. There is a shop downtown, I can’t recall its name which sells various dog collar designs even with lights for night walking.

Yes, custom dog collars go on the pooch but they say quite a bit about you too. You’re out walking the dog or she’s keeping you company during your day and her collar looks brilliant. She’ll get positive attention and so will you. Win win!
My sister-in-law just loves dogs and I have been looking for a great gift idea to give for her new puppy. Having a variety of dog collars can make your dog stand out among the rest. To have different ones for every occasion and need, is also a really neat way to get some attention. You just can’t have too many.

Anyway, enough of my rambling…
I agree that dog collars are more than just a training aid or helping to keep our dog within a certain range (in the case of attaching a leash — I actually prefer to let Coco run wild whenever possible!) BUT collars are also a fashion statement.
Want to make Spike look more manly? Go for one of those heavy spiked collars.
Want Prancer to look more poodley (yeah I made that word up)? How about a hot pink fluffy feathery collar?
